About the Role As Distribution Centre Manager, you will be accountable for the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the DC. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing inventory control, warehousing, inbound and outbound freight, despatch, transport coordination, asset and contractor management, safety, and staff performance. You will lead the DC team through clear standards, strong communication and continuous improvement, while ensuring compliance with WHS, employment and company policies. Working closely with senior leadership, you will support wider business objectives through effective planning, reporting and cost control. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all Distribution Centre operations, including receiving, put-aways, picking, despatch and transport coordination Maintain stock accuracy, stock rotation and service level commitments to branches Oversee workforce planning, rosters, labour allocation and productivity management Conduct daily meetings with DC supervisors and act as the escalation point for operations Reinforce WHS standards and ensure a safe, compliant working environment Manage contractors, site maintenance, DC vehicle fleet and asset servicing Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Distribution Centre and facilities Monitor and report on key operational metrics including service levels, pick accuracy, stock variance, labour productivity and safety incidents Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes and performance Ensure correct use of warehouse management systems, scanning technology and procedures Prepare quarterly operational reports and contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting Work closely with HR on performance management and disciplinary matters when required About You Proven experience managing a Distribution Centre or large warehouse operation Strong leadership skills with the ability to set standards and drive accountability Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and freight management Strong understanding of WHS requirements and compliance obligations Confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships Organised, analytical and comfortable reporting on operational performance Proactive, solution-focused and committed to continuous improvement What We Offer A key leadership role in a growing WA-owned business Supportive senior leadership and a strong operational team The opportunity to make a real impact on DC performance and business outcomes Competitive remuneration aligned with experience Full maintained company car & fuel card Apply Now If you’re an experienced Warehouse leader looking for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
