Palm Lake Care Toowoomba’s Aged Care Community is currently seeking one Permanent Part Time Lifestyle Assistant to join our fun, supportive Lifestyle team. This role fills an existing gap in our roster, and the set shifts are non-negotiable : Working under the guidance of the Clinical Manager and Lifestyle Coordinator, you will help enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents through a diverse range of meaningful individual and group activities. You’ll be part of a collaborative, resident-focused team that values creativity, connection, and continuous improvement. Above all, you’ll support practices that uphold the dignity and independence of every resident. What we are looking for: Previous experience in a similar role Certificate III in Aged Care , Individual Support (or equivalent) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Empathy and genuine rapport with elderly residents and their families Understanding of the AN-ACC framework Knowledge of AutumnCare (highly regarded, not essential) Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or working towards) What we can offer: Excellent working conditions and genuine care for our employees Strong career growth pathways, with on-the-job and online training Being part of a family-focused organisation dedicated to supporting our ageing population All applicants must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.
