THE ROLE We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join us in delivering a range of small projects & light commercial maintenance across the Perth metropolitan area. You will work with a diverse client base, including government, education, aged care & private sector customers, completing small-scale installations, refurbishments & upgrades whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety & quality. This role is ideal for an experienced, self-motivated tradesperson who enjoys variety, problem-solving & collaborating across multiple trades. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Execute electrical works to a high professional standard of workmanship. Assess work requirements & assist in providing accurate cost estimations or quotations. Diagnose faults, inspect systems & ensure compliance with electrical standards & codes. Install safety & distribution components, switches & circuit-breaker panels. Collaborate effectively with other AE Hoskins trades & supervisors. Support & mentor apprentices in safe & effective work practices. Complete documentation including timesheets & reports using digital platforms Adhere to all company safety policies & site requirements. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE You are a reliable, trade-qualified Electrician with solid experience in maintenance & small project works within the commercial sector. You take pride in delivering quality workmanship, enjoy the diversity of day-to-day site work & thrive in a team environment where no two days are the same. We are looking for someone who - Has 3+ years’ experience in commercial maintenance &/or minor works projects. Demonstrates strong fault-finding, installation & fit-out skills. Works safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards under minimal supervision. Communicates clearly & professionally with clients and colleagues. Brings a proactive, solutions-focused approach to every job. PRE REQUISITES Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (essential) White Card WA Driver’s Licence National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain) Working at Heights ticket AE Hoskins Building Services pride ourselves on providing excellent work life balance and a positive team environment.
