FLENDER, a Global Leader in the field of mechanical power transmission, is looking to appoint a Service Project Engineer/ Coordinator in Perth, WA in our new purpose-built facility. Role Summary This is a varied and busy role that will suit a person who likes to run the show. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be a key contributor to the smooth operation of the Workshop to the satisfaction of the clients, and problem‑solve to deliver successful outcomes. Tasks Determine and set technical specifications for jobs according to Flender standards Management of drawings and parts lists Obtaining pricing from 3rd party vendors and factory Maintaining parts/phases schedule in the in‑house ERP system Communication with external and internal customers Creation of SOW for overhaul Working with the logistics department and warehouse Report review/additions – i.e. workshop disassembly reports/MDR’s Prepare customer quotations to a high standard Mandatory skills Safety conscious with a good understanding of work safety standards Ability to work autonomously and lead others Mechanical technical aptitude including the ability to read Engineering drawings Workshop technician/ Machinist/ Apprenticeship background advantageous Ability to manage workload effectively Good attitude, flexibility, and high work ethic Solid Microsoft Office applications skills; SAP experience is a plus Dedicated, reliable, and able to work in a team Good communication skills, and ability to deal with people at different levels A thirst for learning and development including OEM training Recent experience in a similar role Technical knowledge of Industrial machinery, especially gearboxes & power transmission FLENDER offers an environment where high performance is rewarded and avenues for growth and training are encouraged and nurtured.
