Prerequisites Mandatory: Australian citizen or permanent resident with a valid visa with permission to work Experience (minimum 1 year) hands on technical experience in a cyber security or cyber security adjacent role Experience in software development or DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containerisation) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Cloud Certified Practitioner, AWS Certified Security - Specialty) Knowledge of web applications and web application security (HTTP protocol, OWASP Top 10, SAST, SCA, DAST, etc.) Knowledge of cloud security (Cloud security risks, cloud security benchmarks, CSPM/CWPP tools, etc.) and practical experience working with a cloud provider such as AWS, GCP or Azure Responsibilities Uphold our commitment to social and environmental impact, and participate in our culture as a trusted, innovative, and socially responsible consultancy by: Following reasonable direction from management to help you grow your cyber security career and the business; Providing feedback to management if you feel your role or duties do not align with your career goals; Supporting other team members in their professional development and cybersecurity careers; and Adhering to the company’s policies and standards, including our information security policies, our HR Policy, and our Code of Ethics. Actively contribute to the growth of our business by: Performing security assessments of systems and solutions for our clients, including reviewing designs, threat modelling and configuration reviews; Assisting with the secure design, implementation and operation of technical solutions (e.g. CSPM, CWPP, SAST, SCA, DAST) for our clients; Collaborating with our clients teams to advise on security best practices and reduce risks; Developing standards to define security requirements for our clients; Creating security reference architectures, blueprints, roadmaps and guidelines for systems and solutions to provide high quality guidance for our clients; Assisting with the development and implementation of processes and procedures for our clients; Developing and maintaining your technical skills and awareness of the threat environment (e.g., through attaining and maintaining relevant certifications); Producing high-quality analysis and written work that adheres to our Quality Assurance process via formal peer and management reviews of all deliverables; Following our project management methodology to ensure deliverables and projects are completed within budget, scope and schedule; and Providing feedback to management to ensure we are continually improving current offerings and our sales and delivery methodologies.
