About Network Assurance Our Network Assurance Team has joined the Customer and Commercial Team, and we have a Network Assurance Facilitator role that we are recruiting for. This position can be based in Bathurst, Blayney or Oberon. Customer and Commercial are leading several exciting projects that involve new ways of working to allow us to be safer, smarter and more efficient, and to better serve our customers and communities. Then this might be the role for you As a Network Assurance Facilitator , you will be responsible for the quality assurance of the construction and completion of contestable and non-contestable projects through inspection/audit processes, ensuring all works are completed in compliance with the certified design and Essential Energy’s construction standards. This role will be predominantly power quality, other responsibilities will include: Revenue risk and power quality investigations. High level of technical knowledge and skills working across the energy network to maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders. Network inspections, defect management, completion of inspection checklists, project assessments and formal acceptance of construction works. Planning, assessment, evaluation and reporting of works against policy, procedure, and applicable standards. About You This role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Technician who is looking to take their career to the next level. Your experience in the Construction, Energy/Electrical or Utilities industry will be essential in coordinating inspections/audits or investigations related to customer installations, quality of supply issues, electricity theft or electrical shock incidents. You will be comfortable with working and dealing with customers, electrical contractors, and ASPs, providing technical advice to both internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications and Experience Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent Qualified NSW Supervisor Certificate or equivalent (Electrical) Driver’s Licence White Card – Safe Work NSW Induction for Construction Work Skills in coordinating and undertaking investigations, inspections, audits and develop both compliance and preliminary investigation reports Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills Communication and liaison skills required to engage with and address technical issues for customers, business units and key industry stakeholders Excellent interpersonal skills with sound influencing and negotiating ability Desirable Project Management and/or Business Administration qualifications. Auditing qualifications/certifications. Solid understanding and experience with basic/intermediate IT platforms and programs including iOS devices. Certificate IV educational study aligned to modules within the Applied Electrical Engineering (Power Industry) qualification or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualification Why Essential Energy We offer competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience and 16.5% superannuation.
