Warm, professional ex pat family in Bondi Beach are looking for an experienced nanny to care for B20 months. They are looking for someone to become part of their daily life and play a key role in their inquisitive 20-month-old son’s growth and wellbeing. With no relatives nearby, they truly rely on their nanny for structure, stability, and genuine connection—someone who feels like family and helps create lasting memories. Details and Hours Immediate start (however can be flexible for the right candidate), minimum 12 month contract until end of 2026 with potential to extend. Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM (flexibility to be agreed, with occasional pre‑agreed late nights). From March 2026: Schedule changes to 3x days a week (Mon–Wed) because their son will start attending daycare Thursdays and Fridays; they're also open to adding a half‑day on weekends for extra hours and/or willing to discuss package. What You’ll Do Lead learning and development activities (early numeracy, colours, shapes, fine motor skills, creative play, outings to parks, beach, playgroups) Prepare and clean up healthy, child‑focused meals and snacks Plan engaging routines suited to a curious, sociable toddler Help maintain daily hygiene and routines, including naps and transitions Pitch in with light household work—fold laundry, tidy play areas, bake a tray of muffins, pack lunchboxes Drive to local activities (Driver and own car preferred, child seat provided; mileage reimbursed per NSW law) however may consider candidates without a car Be comfortable with a mellow Golden Retriever who is part of the family however she has a dog walker so care isn’t required for the dog Be flexible for occasional late evenings (always agreed well ahead of time) Who You Are Qualified in Early Childhood (degree preferred) or equivalent background Demonstrable experience with toddlers and a visible passion for childhood development Genuinely engaged, creative, and dedicated to going beyond the basics Real enthusiasm and knowledge about child nutrition—loves whipping up nutritious, tasty meals and snacks Warm, reliable, and highly organised communicator Holds current Working With Children Check, Police Check, First Aid/CPR certification Full driver’s license Looking for a stable, long‑term role to make a lasting difference for an expat family The family are looking for an Immediate start however can be flexible for the right candidate. Looking for a minimum 12 month commitment with potential to extend. The family are willing to wait for the right candidate as they are seeking the right fit long term.
