Build a rewarding career with an organisation that truly puts people first SCHADS 4B ($43.08–$46.35 per hour) + super + salary packaging Full‑time (FTE) opportunity based in Maroochydore QLD Required to work across the Sunshine Coast up to Gympie and occasionally facilitate coaching groups outside of business hours with planning and preparation About The Opportunity Facilitated coaching is a one‑to‑one, carer‑led service directed to support carers in increasing their individual agency. It empowers them to find practical, small steps towards self‑identified goals, helping them acquire skills and resilience to sustain their caring role. You will facilitate one‑to‑one and group coaching to carers, creating an environment that is welcoming, real, and empowering. Relationships with carers are built on Wellways values and you will engage positively with key external and internal stakeholders. Community engagement, networking, and establishing referral pathways are a key aspect of this role. You will work autonomously while being a supportive and flexible team member. Reporting to the Carer Coaching and In‑person Peer Support Coordinator, the Carer Gateway Coach will be responsible for: Facilitating the program in accordance with training and the Facilitated Coaching Service Guidelines Providing one‑to‑one and group coaching to enable carers to learn and practice skills, contributing toward the program’s required KPIs Creating an environment that is welcoming, real, and empowering for carers Ensuring relationships with carers are positive and rooted in Wellways values Engaging professionally and positively with key external and internal stakeholders Community engagement, networking, and establishing referral pathways Working autonomously while supporting a flexible team environment To be successful in this role, you will need: Minimum Diploma in Coaching, Counselling, Community Services or a related field Right to work within Australia Current valid Driver’s Licence and the ability to undertake some travel NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (free online course) Satisfactory National Police Records Check NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children’s Check (Employee/Paid) What We Offer Purpose‑Driven Culture: Immerse yourself in a culture where passion meets purpose, fostering respect and unique contributions.
