Design Draftsperson / Design Engineer – Crushing & Screening Equipment Precisionscreen are leaders in the design and manufacture of mobile screening, washing, crushing, and recycling equipment. We are currently seeking a Design Draftsperson / Design Engineer to join our Engineering Department based in Wacol, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established Australian OEM with over 39 years of experience, where you'll be involved in a range of design projects from concept through to manufacture. About the Role Producing accurate 3D and 2D models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Designing and modifying crushers, screens, conveyors, hoppers, and structural components. Updating and maintaining existing drawings and documentation. Reviewing designs to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met. Preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical records. Verifying dimensions, fault finding, and troubleshooting during build stages. Collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality, practical designs. About You Proven experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (essential). Strong mechanical and structural knowledge. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience in conveyor and hopper design (highly regarded). Previous experience in crushing & screening, quarrying, or heavy equipment industries (advantageous but not essential). Full‑time, permanent position based in Wacol – work close to home.
