Manager, Governance, Audit and Reporting Location – Parramatta Ongoing Full time Clerk Grade Salary – $139,787 - $161,663 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, you will be working in collaboration with the expanded team to meet compliance, governance, audit and reporting requirements. What you'll do As part of the Procurement team with Finance and Procurement Services division, the Manager, Governance Audit and Reporting leads and directs a team to ensure compliance with the provision of procurement services, including procurement planning, development, sourcing, contract and risk management activities. You are responsible for, but not limited to : Lead the monitoring and compliance function to ensure policies, procedures, systems and performance management frameworks for all procurement related activity to ensure a high level of professional practice and deliver compliant, effective and efficient Encourage innovative practices, achieve delivery of business outcomes and support policy directions Lead the monitoring and compliance function to ensure policies, procedures, systems and performance management frameworks for all procurement related activity is delivered effectively and efficiently with a high level of professional practice Encourage innovative practices, achieve delivery of business outcomes and support policy directions Develop Procurement performance and business reports that align with corporate and state plans, and to maintain and extend the Department's procurement accreditation Lead and coordinate audit activities and ensure ongoing compliance with the NSW Procurement Policy Framework What we're looking for To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate : Proven senior leadership experience. A strong understanding of the contemporary issues and challenges related to Governance, Audit and reporting requirements Tertiary qualification relating to procurement or finance and / or relevant knowledge and experience in government procurement. Extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of NSW Government Procurement processes. Experience working in a challenging and multifaceted complex organisation. Ability to manage relationships with a diverse range of key stakeholders.
