Behaviour Support Practitioner Contractor

Director of Specialist Behaviour We’re looking for an experienced behaviour support practitioner to join Specialist Behaviour as a subcontractor, supporting client work across education, disability, family, and community settings. Qualifications & Experience A tertiary degree in a field relevant to positive behaviour support Training and/or robust professional development in a focused area of practice Minimum 4 years experience as a PBS practitioner Practitioners who can bring an existing client load as well as accept new referrals Proficient/Advanced/Specialist level and practitioner number (preferred, or eligible for registration) Strong skills in Functional Behaviour Assessment, behaviour support planning, rights-centred and trauma-informed practice Experience in family and staff capability building. Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and familiarity with demonstrated NDIS practice and compliance standards a must. Able to work independently, reliably, and professionally as a contracted practitioner. What the role involves Specialist client engagements and practice support (assessment, plan development, training and consultations to a variety of stakeholders and funding bodies. Contributing practical, evidence-based recommendations and supporting implementation. Flexible hours; visits within the Melbourne Metropolitan area.
