Summary : Were looking for a Director of Engineering to join our rapidly growing Engineering team. This role is for someone who is passionate about building and scaling high-performing teams driving technical strategy and delivering innovative products that align with business and customer needs. As Clios first engineering leadership hire in APAC you will be responsible for establishing and growing our engineering presence in the region. You will work closely with Product and Design lead a talented team and help define technical strategy that supports Clios ambitious international expansion while fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence. What Youll Work On Roll up your sleeves and deep dive into the technology and code to get things done and help managers and developers better understand what is possible. Directly supervise mentor and collaborate with engineering managers and individual contributors who are in the thick of it every day. Navigate the challenges of transitioning from the current state to a future where documents are handled seamlessly and efficiently. Partner with leadership in Product Management and Product Design to envision develop and execute on our product roadmap. Work closely with the Recruiting and People team to actively recruit and hire top talent to support Clios ambitious growth plans. About You Experienced director or senior engineering leader who is still comfortable pushing code to production when necessary. Proven track record in scaling services and systems with experience in projects built for scalability and resilience. Skilled at managing and mentoring high-performing teams nurturing talent and guiding individuals toward professional growth. Experienced in crafting long-term strategies and managing technical roadmaps that pave the way for future growth. Successful in running agile organisations at scale with urgency to deliver quality software that solves customer problems. Growth mindset when it comes to process improvement and new technologies especially AI. Demonstrated ability to foster positive culture and diversity across a large engineering organisation to achieve transformational change. Bonus Points Experience in B2B SaaS and international expansion. Familiarity with compliance or regulatory requirements in global markets. Background in scaling engineering teams from the ground up to high-performing organisations. Knowledge of the engineering challenges and operational rigour required to support rapid growth. Please note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally benefit offerings may differ depending on the employees addition this role is eligible for variable pay that is based on company performance with actual payout amounts calculated and paid on a quarterly basis. We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate.
