Job Description:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose problems using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
Test electrical systems and components to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to execute projects effectively and efficiently.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Document work performed, including maintenance records, test results, and equipment specifications.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in relevant field
At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed.
Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role, with at least two (2) years of experience working in a similar role.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and using diagnostic tools.
Evidence of prior working knowledge of thermodynamics in renewable energy environments is preferable.
Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
