About The Role Join our team and play a vital role in the success of our City We are looking for a dedicated individual to perform repairs and maintenance on minor plant and equipment and assist in the training and development of apprentices and trainees. If you have a passion for hands‑on work and mentoring the next generation, we want to hear from you Role Accountabilities Include Service and repair small engines. Conduct risk assessments for all plant and equipment. Provide support and assistance to Plant Workshop employees. Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety through active participation in discussions. Learn more about the role in the position description: Position Description About You You’re a skilled mechanic with a passion for keeping engines running smoothly. You hold a Trade Certificate in Small Engines and a current driver’s licence , and you bring hands‑on experience across a variety of equipment, from light vehicles and trucks to heavy plant machinery. Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of three years of practical experience , giving you the confidence to tackle complex repairs and maintenance tasks and clear, consistent communication is one of your strengths.
