The Role We have a permanent position for a Case Consultant, Claims Excellence based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Working alongside other Case Consultants, you will manage a portfolio of Retail and Group Claims. Reporting to the Lead, this role will act as an escalation point for complex and more technical claims. You will use your experience to delve further into each claim, assessing claims that are financially complex and addressing complex policy decisions. After the first 4 weeks of interactive learning, you will continue to build skills and confidence on the job, working toward delegated authority. This role provides a pathway into senior level claims roles as you become more technical and experienced. About You 2+ years of life insurance claims management experience (must) Knowledge of legislation and regulations that affect the life insurance industry (advantageous) Experience in Allied Health, Nursing, mental health or related medical fields (advantageous) Ability to communicate and influence positive outcomes Highly customer-centric and collaborative Basic understanding of medical terminology (well regarded) Benefits & Why Join Us We do work that makes a genuine difference to our customers, partners and community.
