We are seeking a highly skilled and cleared Senior ICT Project Manager to direct a critical, high-profile technology transformation within a complex Australian Defence environment . This role is essential for successfully transitioning national Transport Management (TM) services to a new carrier. You will be responsible for overseeing the IT systems design, integration, test, and implementation activities, ensuring alignment between major business process changes and core enterprise systems. Your Core Responsibilities Program Leadership: Provide Project Management leadership to ensure the successful implementation of the new carrier solution. SAP & Integration: Project manage changes to the Defence ERP SAP solution and oversee the configuration and on-boarding of services via the integration platform. Testing & Quality: Lead comprehensive test management, including system integration, UAT, dress rehearsals, and cutover phases. Defect & Risk Management: Undertake rigorous defect management and report progress, identifying and escalating systems risks and mitigations. Governance: Produce and manage an integrated project plan/schedule and ensure solution design has appropriate IT and security approvals. Business Facilitation: Facilitate key agreements, including location data, cost modelling, and defining invoice reconciliation processes for Commonwealth systems (CVS). Your Profile Demonstrated experience managing high-stakes ICT projects within a complex government or Defence agency. Mandatory current NV1 security clearance . Extensive experience with SAP ERP environments, large-scale systems integration, and complex testing programs is highly desirable. Proven ability to lead testing across multiple phases (integration, UAT, cutover) and manage defect resolution. Exceptional stakeholder collaboration, presentation, and facilitation skills. Certifications such as Leading SAFe or Prince2 are preferred.
