Description You don’t need to meet all the criteria but if you feel that this role is aligned with your career aspirations then this is for you BE part of the solution We are looking for an Engineering Control Systems professional who will provide technical support (including SCADA and Control Systems) in the design, implementation and testing of high‑quality engineering solutions. As the Controls Systems engineer you will also provide project management support, seek design optimisation, assist with component selection and develop technical documentation. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, this role is particularly specialised and key in the development of our POWER STATION philosophy, working across the business to align holistic power station operations with the power purchase agreements. To be part of the change this role will Develop and review technical or supporting documentation and technical specifications, including hardware and software functional design specifications. Support SCADA and Control Systems design change management and functionality development. Perform engineering duties through the entire project life cycle (concept to commissioning), including control system development, equipment specification preparation and selection, schematic and wiring design, and testing of software by working with other team members. Complete design reviews, drawings and report mark‑ups. Participate in design reviews such as SID, HAZOP, CHAZOP, HAZID, CRAW and client‑facing design reviews. Liaise and collaborate with the Commissioning Team(s) on commissioning activities, including the development, execution and/or oversight of ITRs, ITPS, FAT & SAT. Interface with external consultants and stakeholders. Provide site‑based engineering support (as required). Assess and delegate resolution of issues. Develop technology and process improvement initiatives. Learn specialised information on generator control platforms, including ComAp. Develop, maintain and assist operations in LNG SCADA systems. BE this person A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes involved in projects. Strong experience with the design and selection of control systems instrumentation and OT networking equipment. Experience with the development and deployment of SCADA and HMI systems. Experience managing the requirements of technical personnel in facilitating a project (engineering input and management of engineering risk). Strong technical writing experience.
