About the opportunity You'll play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities. Your responsibilities include ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and supporting the overall comfort and well-being of residents, and employees. Performing a variety of cleaning tasks in residents rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces. Manage the housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring that the residents receive efficient and effective services, with all the requirements met in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory standards. Casual vacancies are available now at our Aged Care home in Mentone, with potential for permanent roles. What you'll bring You're reliable, resilient and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in your community. Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential) A sense of empathy & compassion for elderly residents & their families.
