About the Role Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities. Assist in the design, delivery and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services and activities. Implement innovative events and lifestyle activities, involving community, volunteers, and families where possible. Provide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips, including assistance with personal hygiene and toileting. Provide direct resident care in relation to meals service, mobility and social support. Support peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit. Work in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures to protect yourself, colleagues and residents. To Be Successful in This Role You’ll Need A kind heart and genuine passion for high‑quality care to the elderly. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Certificate III or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, Individual Support or similar. Ability to establish and maintain professional, appropriate relationships with residents and families. A reliable team player. Commitment to respecting residents’ values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs. Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
