Responsibilities Safeguard the integrity of Zurich’s product offerings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO). Implement, maintain, and continuously improve product governance frameworks that meet external regulations and internal standards. Proactively identify and analyze how evolving regulatory requirements impact Zurich’s broad range of general insurance products. Oversee compliance processes such as Target Market Determination (TMD) assessments, keeping accurate records to support these activities. Conduct data gathering and analysis to support regulatory compliance and ongoing enhancement of governance frameworks. Create, maintain, and regularly review governance‑related policy and process documentation. Prepare and lead regular meetings to monitor product outcomes, provide actionable recommendations, and support product initiatives with a governance perspective. Collaborate across Zurich and with external partners to promote robust governance practices throughout the organization. Qualifications At least 3 years of relevant experience in general insurance regulation or a related field with a solid understanding of general insurance products and distribution channels. Background in financial services, regulatory, or similar sectors, with experience implementing reforms such as RG274. Hands‑on experience implementing and managing Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO), ideally within general insurance. Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills; able to navigate complex tasks independently. Comfortable with challenge and ambiguity; driven to maintain product integrity. Strategic thinking with a track record of influencing stakeholders. Proven commitment to continuous improvement and adopting new work practices. Skilled in data analysis to identify trends affecting consumer outcomes and product performance. Excellent written communication skills, including drafting governance frameworks and guidelines.
