Business Operations (Strategy & Ops) Department: Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: Sydney Description You will be responsible for owning and executing strategic operational initiatives that aim to enhance Driva's capabilities and efficiencies. The successful candidate will develop a sound understanding of our end-to-end processes and formulate recommendations to streamline our operations. You will be working cross functionally with our Product and Operations Leaders to implement strategic initiatives across the various teams. What you will do Data Analysis: Identify operational weaknesses and areas for conversion, efficiency and customer experience improvement through data driven analysis of our current processes and journeys Strategic Projects: Where weaknesses are identified, design and implement initiatives, and track their effectiveness against stated objectives Team support: Where required, support Team Leads to manage and optimise performance of specific early stage teams to grow them to a BAU operation Automate Tasks: Review efficiency and effectiveness of internal collaboration tools and processes, and automate repetitive low value tasks for increased team efficiencies - Zapier, Slack, Salesforce, Twilio, Make.com, n8n etc. Lender / stakeholder management: Work closely with our lender partners and other stakeholders to improve processes, pricing or mix to uplift overall conversion Experiments: Design and implement experiments to test ideas that could meaningfully uplift conversion, with well designed tracking and reporting Reporting: Build reporting in Salesforce and other tools (SQL, Domo, Excel, etc) to track key metrics (e.g., cost to serve, funnel conversion, turn around times and adherence to SLAs) Internal Collaboration: Work cross functionally with various Operations and Product teams to maximise successful adoption of initiatives Documentation: Review and document processes, draft new communications and establish training materials to allow for effective onboarding and up-skilling across all Operations teams, both onshore and offshore Advise Co-Founders: Work closely with the Co-Founders to identify other areas of strategic value and prioritisation for the business What we are looking for in this hire Prior experience (at least 2 years) in business operations or strategy for a scale up or high-growth company Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics or Business preferred Problem-solving skills, being able to operate with ambiguity and synthesise complex information Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to effectively collaborate with key internal stakeholders Prior experience in optimising sales functions preferred Ability to juggle multiple projects and manage competing priorities Experience using Salesforce, Domo and G-Suite ideal Strong analytical ability - preferably highly excel proficient, SQL, and similar Benefits Hybrid Work Model: We’ll support your commute with an allowance to cover travel expenses for in-office days.
