Jandakot Airport Holdings is seeking a friendly, reliable, and passionate Safety Coordinator with strong interpersonal and communication skills to join our small team in a supportive role. Reporting to and assisting the Safety Manager, this position offers full time with the potential for a part time working arrangement with flexible hours for the right candidate. The position offers exposure to a wide variety of safety management disciplines, with the primary focus being the day-to-day coordination of the airport’s safety management system, training and internal/external safety auditing. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily SMS coordination activities, reporting, and investigations Support internal and external safety audits and risk management activities Schedule training and facilitate training courses for up to 18 internal staff members Maintain training records, safety records, and staff/contractor inductions Promote a positive safety culture and support emergency preparedness Ensure compliance with CASA, WHS WA, and other relevant regulations About You Qualification in WHS (Required) Experience with safety or risk management systems (aviation preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and report writing Current driver’s licence and ability to pass CASA Part 99 drug & alcohol screening and pre-employment medical Auditing or Lead Auditor qualification/experience (or willing to obtain) Certificate IV Training and Assessment (or willing to obtain) Technical aviation background (Preferred) Fire Warden or First Aid training (or willing to obtain) If you’re safety-focused, proactive, and ready to grow your career with a small but dedicated team, we’d love to hear from you.
