With a strong presence on the Gold Coast and major plans for national expansion, we are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next chapter of growth, innovation and service. About the Role The CEO will be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational excellence, financial sustainability, and national expansion of SOP. This role requires a visionary, dynamic leader with proven experience in complex organisations, ideally in the charity or community sector. The CEO will work closely with the Board to oversee logistics, delivery operations, governance, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and the rollout of national programs; ensuring SOP remains trusted, efficient, and mission driven as it continues to scale. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and deliver SOP’s vision for national growth. Oversee high-volume logistics, delivery services, and operational systems. Strengthen governance, compliance, and organisational transparency. Lead and inspire a diverse team of staff, volunteers, and community partners. Drive fundraising, partnerships, and donor engagement Ensure strong financial management and sustainable growth Represents SOP as a respected and passionate ambassador across Australia. Required Experience & Capabilities Proven executive leadership experience (CEO, GM, COO or equivalent). Strong background in logistics, delivery operations, or large scale service coordination. Demonstrated success in governance, compliance, and organisational management Experience within the charity, social services, or not-for-profit sector. Strategic thinker with the ability to execute large-scale growth initiatives. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and partnership building skills.
