Volunteer Director of Activations

Serving Our People Inc – Surfers Paradise QLD The Director of Activations will lead the planning and execution of SOPs public-facing activations, most notably our Christmas Gift Wrapping activation at Pacific Fair, as well as other community initiatives throughout the year. You will have the freedom to propose and develop new activation ideas, working closely with our team to bring them to life. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee SOP activations at locations such as Pacific Fair and Bond University Lead and manage a team of volunteers during events and activations Develop and propose new activation ideas aligned with SOPs mission Provide leadership, scheduling, and clear communication to activation teams Report on the outcomes and success of activations to SOP management What We’re Looking For: A self-starter with excellent organisational and leadership skills Strong communication skills and ability to motivate and manage volunteers Creative mindset with a passion for community engagement Ability to work autonomously and manage flexible hours What You’ll Gain: A meaningful leadership role within a respected community organisation Freedom to express and implement your ideas in a supportive environment Valuable experience in volunteer management and event coordination The opportunity to positively impact thousands of lives If you’re someone who enjoys bringing people together, has a passion for giving back, and loves making things happen, we’d love to hear from you.
