The Role: We are seeking full-time Occupational Therapists for ourSouthwest andWestern Sydney regions. Responsibilities include: Conducting initial assessment and ongoing intervention to NDIS and Support at Home participants in clinic or at the participant’s home, for participants across the lifespan and including complex cases. Mentoring of junior Occupational Therapist, including review of reports. Assistive equipment prescription and minor home modification recommendations. (Experience and knowledge in major home modifications is an advantage). Provide quality clinical opinions and justification through comprehensive report writing and completing functional capacity assessments. Liaising with service providers and within the team to ensure effective communication. Coachable and open to feedback. Strong ability to maintain strong working relationships with patients and referrers. Excellent interpersonal, communication and report writing skills. (documentation, correspondences, reports). Full AHPRA accreditation. Eligibility for registration with Medicare. Professional indemnity insurance, valid police check and working with children check. Current drivers license, own vehicle and willingness/ability to travel to participants. Cultural awareness and foreign language capabilities an advantage.
