We’re seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist who brings warmth, professionalism, and efficiency to a busy front desk and loves working with children and their families. Purpose-driven paediatric clinic making a genuine difference Supportive team of paediatricians & allied health clinicians Stable, full-time role (Mon–Fri, 9–5) Friendly, collaborative, growth-focused culture Professional development opportunities as the centre expands About the role You’ll be the first point of contact for children and families, responsible for smooth day-to-day operations: Welcome families and manage a busy reception professionally Coordinate appointment schedules across multiple clinicians Handle phone, email, and in-person enquiries Process payments, Medicare and private health claims (HICAPS/tyro or equivalent) Manage patient paperwork, referrals, and clinical documentation Work closely with paediatricians and allied health providers to ensure a seamless experience What you’ll bring Medical reception or healthcare administration experience (essential) Confident with appointment booking software (Cliniko, Gentu or similar) Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills—comfortable supporting children, parents, and clinicians Calm, organised, and proactive in a fast-paced environment; excellent attention to detail Team-first mindset and willingness to pitch in across the clinic Highly regarded (nice to have) Experience with Medicare billing/PRODA, HICAPS/tyro Knowledge of paediatric or allied health settings Intermediate Microsoft 365/Google Workspace skills Compliance (or willingness to obtain) Working With Children Check (WA) National Police Clearance Full Australian working rights How to apply Email your CV and a brief cover letter to *******@perthcdc.au with the subject line:Medicalist Application – Perth CDC #J-18808-Ljbffr
