What we’re looking for? As a Risk & Advisory Analyst, you will provide analysis, insights, and support across Police Bank’s risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks. You’ll work closely with business units to identify risks, assess controls, and contribute to sound decision‑making that protects our members and supports long‑term sustainability. NB – this role is a 12MFTC. About the role Support the Risk team in the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Bank’s Risk Management Framework Maintain and deliver a 2LoD risk‑based assurance plan aligned with the Bank’s risk and compliance priorities Lead and execute control assurance reviews across 1LoD focusing on operational, financial, technology, IT Security, project management and regulatory risks Prepare and present assurance reports to senior leaders and governance committees Support the enhancement of the Risk and Control Self‑Assessment (RCSA) framework and related control libraries Ability to understand linkages between the RCSA framework, incidents as reported by 1LoD and outcomes of 2LoD control assurance About You Previous experience in a similar role across the banking and/or financial services sector is a must Happy to take on a 12 MFTC Knowledge of prudential standards, risk management principles, or regulatory frameworks (APRA, ASIC, CPS 220/234/510/520) is highly regarded Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Risk, Law, or similar field preferred Analytical, curious, and able to interpret complex information Strong communicator who can work collaboratively across various teams Comfortable working in a regulated environment where accuracy matters Passionate about building strong risk culture and supporting a member‑first ethos Why you’ll love the role Collaborative and supportive culture with genuine work–life balance Opportunities for career growth and professional development Seniority level Associate Employment type Contract Job function General Business Police Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
