To deliver all this and more, Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for a full‑time Demi Chef with a passion for presentation, dedication to flavour and commitment to setting high standards from workspace to table and beyond. Responsibilities Work in all areas of the kitchen (Restaurant, Banquets, Breakfast, Room service). Prepare in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service. Stay up to date with current food trends. Actively build product knowledge to upsell products and provide One Step Ahead service to guests. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and colleagues alike. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety, Hygiene and HACCP standards. Cooperate and partner with management in the implementation of workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives. Follow kitchen and hotel policies, procedures and brand standards. Qualifications Working rights in Australia. Commercial Cookery Certificate III or related field. Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience in a hotel, banquets or restaurant. Previous experience with HACCP processes and procedures. Strong teamwork skills, self‑development focus and drive for results. High energy level and passion for customer service.
