Sydney Asset Management Permanent Our client is a global fund manager, seeking a Portfolio Administration Analyst to join its growing Portfolio Admin team in Sydney. The company is developing rapidly in a growing sector of the market. Portfolio administration is an important supporting function to the success of the business and the role provides scope to deeply influence that success. Opportunities to join a fast-growing business are few, but this opening would provide significant career upside for the right candidate. Key Accountabilities and Scope Perform daily fund NAV, cash, and position reconciliation Work with fund administrator, custodian, middle office and the Portfolio Management team to investigate and solve breaks Perform pre-trade and post-trade compliance checking Processing core operational workflow for ETF settlements, trade processing, cash management Supporting full lifecycle for ETF settlements, including confirming collateral requirements, calculating cash-in-lieu, monitoring cash payments and trade settlements Collaborating with the product development team and portfolio management team to bring new products to life, including researching in asset classes, submitting account registration documentation, and performing due diligence on new operational requirements Working closely with Portfolio Management to provide operational support for all investment activity Monitoring trade settlements and ensure timely settlements Acting as a point of contact with Authorised Participants and service providers to solve any trade and settlement discrepancies Skills and Qualifications Required Educated to degree level or equivalent 3 years+ of experience in fund administration or back-office support in asset management, with preference for direct experience in the ETF industry Understanding of risk management High level of attention to detail Willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities. Ability to interact with others at various levels with client-ready deliverable This role will pay and attractive base salary on $90-110 + super and performance-based bonus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
