Employment Type: 3x Permanent Full TimePosition Classification: Enrolled NurseRemuneration: $65,024 - $70,655 per annumHours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part-time hours)Location: Westmead Hospital Where you'll be working Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) provides primary, secondary, and tertiary health care across multiple LGAs and the Greater Western Region, driven by the core values of collaboration, openness, respect, and empowerment. Serves Auburn, Blacktown, The Hills Shire, Holroyd, and Parramatta LGAs. Committed to "better health services for the people of western Sydney and beyond." Health care facilities include Mount Druitt, Blacktown, Auburn, Westmead, and Cumberland Hospitals. Emphasises delivering high-quality care and related services in diverse settings. What you'll be doing Join our team as an Enrolled Nurse at Westmead Hospital’s Haematology/BMT C5a ward, a premier NSW centre for blood transplants and cell therapies. The unit is concerned with the care of patients with malignant and non-malignant haematologic diseases and is supported by a Clinical Coordinator, a Clinical Nurse Educator, a Nursing Unit Manager, numerous Clinical Nurse Specialists and Clinical Nurse Consultants. You will deliver compassionate care and grow your skills in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment: Deliver hands-on care and support clients’ independence and wellbeing Assist with assessments, interventions, and monitoring health outcomes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care delivery Contribute to quality improvement and maintain accurate health records Participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities Training in all aspects will be provided. Essential Criteria: Registration: Current Enrolled Nurse Division 2 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Selection Criteria: Relevant and recent clinical experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership.
