A day in your new work life As a Scientific Advisor - Bioanalytical , you will act as both a technical subject matter expert and a strategic business partner to drive business growth. This is a new, client-facing role with a strong focus on building relationships, attending industry events, and identifying new business opportunities. Plus, enjoy the convenience of onsite parking and a supportive team environment. Your day-to-day may include: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the clinical trial bioanalytical services sector Develop strategic account plans and deliver persuasive client proposals Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with sponsors and partners Attend conferences, exhibitions, and industry events (including international travel) Collaborate with laboratory and operational teams to ensure client needs are met with precision and compliance Maintain up-to-date scientific and regulatory knowledge, and educate clients and team members on best practices Contribute to budgeting and proposal development Regularly review business development performance against targets What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, immunology, protein sciences, cellular/molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related field (Master’s or PhD highly regarded) 2–5 years’ experience as a bench scientist or in a commercial laboratory Strong understanding of bioanalysis and clinical research Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Outgoing, sociable, and a true “people person” High attention to detail and tenacity in following up opportunities Customer-facing experience (including retail or sales) is a plus Willingness to travel (domestic and international conferences, client visits) You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid working visa.
