Job Description Lead complex executive recruitment, employment and reporting services to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based HR outcomes. Drive expert advice for senior executives across comparative assessments, contracts, mobility, re‑alignment and workforce reporting. Streamline PSSE processes by developing innovative reporting tools, dashboards and solutions that strengthen decision‑making. The Lead, Executive Recruitment and Employment is a GSE subject‑matter expert that leads the provision of expert HR advice across a range of recruitment, employment and reporting related matters for the Department’s Public Service senior executive (PSSE) cohort to enable the delivery of responsive and customer‑focused outcomes in line with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013 and other relevant legislation/frameworks and guidelines. About You Experienced in interpreting legislation, including the GSE Act, Rules and relevant policies, and applying them in complex workforce scenarios. Skilled in partnering with senior executives to deliver end‑to‑end recruitment and employment outcomes for Public Service Senior Executive roles. Confident in managing employee movements and providing clear, accurate advice on mobility, re‑alignment and contract matters. Strong writer with the ability to prepare high‑quality briefing notes and correspondence for Secretary‑level decision‑making. Analytical thinker with experience developing detailed reporting, data insights and metrics to support executive workforce planning. Comfortable leading project work, including enhancing dashboards, refining processes, updating documentation and improving online content. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Essential Requirements of the Role Proven experience working as a HR Generalist, ideally within a government agency. Expertise across a range of HR functions, with a focus specific to this role on the management of the executive employee lifecycle. Highly proficient in the use of HR information systems, and Microsoft office software. Experience working with people data (e.g., survey data, HR data, remuneration data). Experience using SAP, SharePoint and Power Bi is highly desirable. Background in end‑to‑end executive recruitment is highly desirable. Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Human Resource Management / Business Management or a relevant discipline. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
