Job Description Monadelphous is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Electrical to work within our Port and East Pilbara teams on upcoming and current projects. The role is responsible for providing comprehensive engineering support, including leading the team, building client relationships, preparing high‑quality reporting and defining scope of work. Key Responsibilities Reviewing Scope of Work, drawings and specifications Reviewing budgets, completing cost comparisons and procuring materials Formulating and reviewing methodologies Work pack development and aiding with estimating, scoping, tendering, planning, scheduling and executing the scope of work Organising project resources, equipment and materials/procurement as directed to meet project or contractual requirements Providing advice, technical or functional information to supervision and project staff involved in execution of work Qualitative documentation – ITRs and ITPs Supporting and coordinating the team Identifying hazards and advising on safety procedures; actively monitoring work practices to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance Working in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications and ISO requirements What You’ll Bring Previous experience working in an electrical engineering position Prior experience with estimating within the electrical space is highly desirable Proven experience developing project/construction schedules, work packs and progress reports Prior experience with projects, servicing, maintenance, shutdowns and brownfields upgrades for the mining sector is advantageous Strong written and technical skills, with a demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets, construction metrics and change management Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline Proof of right to work in Australia with no restrictions Ability to do site visits and a FIFO roster, when needed, is a must Benefits On‑the‑job mentoring and coaching Internal transfer and secondment opportunities within the business Yearly salary reviews FIFO from Perth, WA on a 5‑2/4‑3 roster, allowing you to be home every weekend Life at Monadelphous We celebrate our diversity and shared values and are committed to inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
