Requirements for this role Flexible hours available No experience required for this role Expected salary: $180 - $260 per hour About the role Cannabis Doctors Tasmania is seeking an experienced Tasmanian based (or willing to relocate) Telehealth Doctor to join our team. This is a casual/part time/full time position, providing remote medical consultations to patients across the state. As a Telehealth Doctor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare through the use of cutting-edge video and phone conferencing technology. What you’ll be doing Conduct remote medical consultations with patients via video and phone calls, providing professional, compassionate care Assess patient symptoms, confirm diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in line with medical and legal requirements Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, holistic care for patients Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, treatments, and best practices in telehealth Provide timely and responsive follow-up care to patients as needed What we’re looking for Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Doctor, with a background in telehealth or remote healthcare delivery preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients remotely Proficient in the use of video conferencing and other healthcare technology Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends Must be based in Tasmania or willing to relocate What we offer At Cannabis Doctors Tasmania, we are dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of our community.
