About the Opportunity We need a doctor to work 2 days per week – ideally Monday and Thursday – at Dr Deb The Travel Doctor, a dedicated travel medicine clinic serving the Greater Brisbane Area. Company Description Dr Deb The Travel Doctor is dedicated to ensuring travellers stay healthy and safe during their journeys abroad. In collaboration with a passionate team of doctors, nurses and administration staff, we provide expert travel health advice and medical services for clients embarking on trips to diverse destinations. Our clinics focus on preventative medicine, pre‑ and post‑travel immunisations, occupational travel health, and complex travel patients, often serving large companies, government organisations, offshore oil and gas platforms, high‑altitude mines and more. Responsibilities Perform medical assessments of travellers posted internationally with large companies and government organisations, offshore oil and gas platforms, high‑altitude mines, and similar settings. Provide routine vaccines and specialised travel vaccines, including Yellow Fever, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis, BCG, Tick Encephalitis, Dengue, and Q Fever. Give efficient, exceptional care and travel health advice to support clients’ journeys abroad. Collaborate with a systems‑based operation and a happy team of two doctors, three RNs, and three admin staff on site. Qualifications Post‑graduate qualifications in travel medicine preferred; can be underway. Extensive training provided. Travel experience to remote areas is an advantage.
