What is our role We seek to appoint a seasoned Economics Director that will lead our pursuits from NSW. The ideal person will Be an expert in the analysis of ‘people, places, and spaces’ and the many policies and economic factors that determine the structure and performance of our cities and regional areas. Have a strong background in providing specialist economic advice on complex land use, property, and policy matters. Maintain deep relationships with developers, investors, policy makers, businesses, peak bodies, Government departments and agencies, and many other entities seeking advice on how economics applies to their real‑world issues. Be competent to lead other staff, including delegating, supervising, and reviewing work, and to deliver projects within budget and scope. Qualifications A tertiary qualification in Economics (highly preferred) or property, urban planning, or a related degree with exposure to economic principles. Client relationships within the above‑mentioned groups. A mindset that creates high value and solutions‑focused work. An ability to undertake projects as part of a national economics practice. Experience within professional consulting services or the public sector, such as local or state government.
