The role is responsible for ensuring a coordinated, system-wide approach to service planning that is critical to the long‑term sustainability, equity and effectiveness of the NSW public health system. You’ll drive investment strategies for health services and infrastructure, incorporating emerging technologies, specialty service needs and population health priorities. Working in close collaboration with stakeholders across Local Health Districts and statewide initiatives, you’ll champion a transparent and coordinated planning approach overseen by the Ministry of Health. This is your chance to influence meaningful change and improve outcomes for communities across NSW. This is an ongoing, full‑time, Band 2, Public Service Senior Executive (PSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $327,198 to $364,617 per annum, with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant. About you Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health‑related field and/or demonstrated equivalent health experience working in a highly complex policy and program management environment encompassing a diverse range of public health portfolios. A deep understanding of the complexities of public health systems, policy frameworks and service delivery models in NSW. Proven experience in navigating health‑related environments, engaging with diverse stakeholders and leading strategic initiatives that improve health outcomes.
