We are looking for client focused Transport Coordinators to work at one of the major events of the year at the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup (football) being held in Sydney, Perth and Gold Coast. TMS (AUS) have been appointed as the ground transport management company for the event, and we are looking for personnel to support our delivery of transport services. REPORTS TO Host City Transport Manager PLACE OF WORK You could be placed at one of the following locations during any shift - Sydney Olympic Park, Parramatta area, Sydney CBD, Sydney Airport. HOURS OF WORK Contract Set Dates (between 20 February – 25 March 2026) - requirement to have full availability during this period Shifts can include evenings, weekends and public holidays Shifts will generally be 12hrs in length TOOLS OF THE TRADE The following will be supplied by the company to support your role: It is expected that you will supply your personal smartphone and that any data usage is covered within the provided remuneration. Applications such as WhatsApp will be used during operations. Smart casual attire including fully covered shoes is required to be worn at all times when operational. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Host City Transport Manager (HCTM) you will be responsible for the operational coordination of multiple load zones/parking areas at venues in your city that may activate simultaneously during the event period. Venues could include Stadium, Training facilities, Accommodation sites or Airport. Assisting in managing the temporary transport staff (load zone or parking) in your city at one or many venues. Pre‑event training and familiarisation with HCTM or TMS Project Lead to understand event transport for client groups in your nominated event location. Understanding and implementing operational venue transport plans for your location and dynamic changes as required from briefings from HCTM’s. Close workings with TMS scheduling, vehicle providers and other operational staff to ensure transport meets the needs of the client group using the load zone/parking area. Operational control of load zones during event operations and responsibility for any temporary load zone staff (Transport Volunteers) at those locations including directing vehicles and drivers to their correct location. Input and operational responsibility for the radio communications in place for your work zones. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES When working on behalf of TMS be dedicated to any assigned event period that is agreed in advance. Working collaboratively as part of a team to plan, coordinate and deliver a specific project on behalf of a client. Coordinating with various stakeholders and service delivery partners to ensure that the client experience is of the highest standard. Perform various operational roles at a specific venue as required. Maintain and follow Workplace, Health & Safety requirements whilst performing your duties at all times. Ensuring the health and safety of yourself, your colleagues and sub‑contractors at all times. Ensuring at all times that any NHVL compliance requirements, such as Chain of Responsibility (COR) is adhered to and implemented throughout the planning and delivery of services. Representing TMS in a professional manner at all times whether in person or online. Respond to and send communications via E‑Mail, phone, online meetings in a timely manner. Maintain a record of all your hours of work and tasks performed by completing a timesheet to assign relevant hours to a specific project. Maintain all documentation in company files and folders online and in shared folders. Be willing to work flexible and extended hours throughout the event period. This may change from day to day. Escalate any issues, concerns or requests to the HCTM in the first instance and in a timely manner. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Preferred experience working in a special/major event environment but not essential. Preferred experience of the passenger transport industry in one or more of the following areas (Bus/ Coach, Chauffeur, Taxi, Rail, Fleet, etc.). Proficient in English (written and oral). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software. ABOUT YOU Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and immovable deadlines whilst thinking on your feet. Flexibility in working hours – no two days are the same. Positive team culture, relationship builder and ‘can‑do’ attitude. Have a current and Full Car Driving License. Client focused and highly organised. Ability to work independently if required. Willing to have constructive conversations to achieve mutual results. Empathetic to culturally diverse audiences. Must have the ability to pass a full Police Check (no cost to you) with 10 years of residential information. Must have the right to work within Australia (prior to applying for role). Must be based and have existing accommodation in the city that you are based for this role. The role is a short‑term contract based on a casual employment arrangement to deliver services for a specific event.
