Platform Engineer

About the Role As a Platform Engineer , you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and practices that empower our development teams to deliver high‑quality software — efficiently and securely. You’ll focus on automation, reliability, and scalability, working across engineering, cloud, and security teams to create a seamless developer experience and ensure operational excellence across our platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and platform services Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of infrastructure and workloads. Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve delivery efficiency and reliability. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation . Ensure platform reliability, security, and scalability through proactive monitoring and best practices. Implement observability solutions for logging, metrics, and tracing. Collaborate closely with software engineers to streamline workflows and enable self‑service capabilities . Advocate for DevSecOps principles and platform best practices across teams. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing. About You You’re passionate about building reliable, scalable systems that make life easier for developers. You thrive on automation, continuous improvement, and solving complex challenges in cloud environments. You’re collaborative, curious, and driven to create tools and platforms that help teams move faster and safer. You’ll Bring Proven experience in platform engineering, DevOps , or infrastructure‑focused roles. A background in software development, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles & architecture. Strong hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with containerisation , and cloud‑native architectures. Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar). Knowledge of observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana. Scripting or programming experience in Python, Go, or Bash . Solid understanding of networking and security best practices .
