Customer Banking Specialist – Wynard We are seeking a dedicated Customer Banking Specialist to join our Wynard Branch and deliver a seamless banking experience with a wide range of products and services. Part Time Roster (20 hours per week): Monday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm Tuesday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm Wednesday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm Thursday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm Friday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm About the Role As the public face of Commonwealth Bank, you will support more than 10 million personal and small business customers, helping them open accounts, save for their future, buy homes, and plan retirement. Your role will involve engaging with customers on a wide range of banking needs. Responsibilities Have in-depth conversations with customers about Home Loans, Business Banking and financial advice. Support customers with enquiries, account maintenance and process applications for credit products. Complete Financial Health Checks to assess and identify customers’ financial needs. Provide options through education and demonstration of in‑branch technology and digital banking options. Problem‑solve and provide effective solutions while championing processes, procedures and a risk‑averse culture. Qualifications Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service, ideally in financial services, retail or hospitality. Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate financial terms clearly. Strong questioning, solution‑finding, integrity, and customer‑centric mindset. Ability to thrive in a busy, commercial retail environment while seeing the big picture. Genuine interest in building a career with Commonwealth Bank and improving customers’ financial wellbeing.
