These products broaden our ANZ portfolio, strengthen category leadership, and deliver incremental commercial value. The Head of ANZ Distribution (SPD) leads this end-to-end ecosystem. It is a senior, influential position responsible for shaping the local product strategy, owning commercial outcomes, and guiding cross-functional teams through concept, development, sourcing, technical refinement and launch. About the role You will define the Local Distribution roadmap and lead a team spanning Category Management, Product Management, Sourcing, and Engineering/Technical. You will champion commercially strong, consumer-focused products built for the ANZ market, balancing creativity, insight, and disciplined execution. Working as part of the Australian Leadership Team, you’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance, as well as global category and design teams, to ensure our launches are not just on‑time, but best‑in‑class. Key responsibilities include: Product Strategy & Roadmap – Set and evolve 2‑3 year category strategies based on market insight, competitor analysis and consumer needs. Approve new category opportunities and guide product direction from feasibility to launch. End‑to‑End NPD Leadership – Lead the full product lifecycle, making informed trade‑off decisions around cost, function, specification and timing. Ensure projects meet quality, compliance and commercial expectations. Manage contribution margins, cost structures, pricing strategies and product profitability. Oversee project business cases, tooling/CAPEX, budget management and margin optimisation. Mentor and develop a high‑performing team (3 direct, 11 indirect). Cross‑Functional Influence – Drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, Technical, Operations, Demand Planning and Finance. Lead launch readiness and support retailer submissions and key customer presentations. About You You bring 5+ years in Category, Brand, Product or Business Management with hands‑on NPD experience and strong technical understanding. You are a strategic thinker with commercial depth, a confident storyteller, and a leader who can influence at all levels. You thrive on solving complex problems, interpreting insights, managing multiple priorities, and bringing great products to life.
