Analysis & Reporting (Banking & Financial Services)We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst professional to join our commercial Underwriting team In this role, you will work across multiple functions and provide the business with technical expertise and data insights to help us improve performance, expand our portfolios and achieve our strategic initiatives. This technical role will see you use your skills to extract data from systems, analyse the portfolio products and report on findings to senior stakeholders. The commercial products comprise of Motor, Liability, Personal Injury/Accident and more.Your new roleEngage with key stakeholders across the business and act as a trusted advisor to provide insights and ideas for improvement.Deliver timely and accurate data through models, reports, analysing and communicating results, responding to complex business issues and providing best practice solutions to assist with company direction and decision-making.Analyse data extracted from multiple systems in comparison to prior months or years.Support team members to derive trends, conclusions and recommendations based on data and analysis.Formulate strategy for the commercial products – Motor, Liability, Personal injury, Workers Compensation and Property.About youStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Previous experience as a business or data analyst professional.General insurance experience preferred.Accounting or finance knowledge.SAS database, SQL and Data warehouse knowledge preferred.You are a confident, driven and possess initiative who is comfortable engaging with leadership.You are customer-centric and have a passion for opportunities to modernize and automate.About QBEWe can never really predict what’s around the corner, but at QBE we’re asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future – helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.We’re an international insurer that’s building momentum towards realising our vision of becoming the most consistent and innovative risk partner.And our people will be at the centre of our success.
