Located in Tamworth , Nazareth Care is a fully accredited, not‑for‑profit organisation and home to 90 residents. Nazareth House provides excellence in person‑centred and clinical care, with respect and compassion for all – Aged Care from the heart. We are currently seeking an experienced Cook and Kitchen Hand to join our friendly team on a Casual basis. Working closely with the Catering Manager, your passion will be instrumental in enhancing the care and wellbeing of our residents. What you will be doing: Preparing nutritious and delicious meals according to menus, dietary requirements and preferences Ensuring meals are presented to the highest standard Working closely with the Catering Manager to develop new and exciting menu items Adhering to Health and Safety protocols and Food Safety Programs Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Accurate record keeping What we are looking for: Safe Food Handling Certificate Previous experience in a similar role Experience in Aged Care, Health Services or Catering beneficial Certificate III Commercial Cookery preferred for Cook position A collaborative team player with a passion for making a difference Excellent written and verbal communication skills Flexible availability for weekdays and weekends (Cook – 1:30‑5:30 / Kitchen Hand – 9:00‑1:30) What we can offer you: A family friendly organisation that values its employees Continuing professional development Not‑for‑Profit Salary Packaging, up to $18,550 tax free A friendly and supportive team environment Rewards Program, Retail Discounts and other benefits Nazareth Care prides itself on fostering an inclusive culture that cultivates respect of individual differences, embracing diversity.
