What’s on Offer Permanent role on a 8/6 days rotating 7/7 nights roster Direct 1-hour flight from Perth. Earn Virgin Velocity points + access to the Alliance lounge Competitive salary, site allowance, and private health insurance allowance Quarterly operations bonus incentives 6 weeks annual leave, paid personal leave, inclusive parental leave + more Modern camp with well‑equipped amenities Work in state‑of‑the‑art underground and surface workshops Career development pathways and internal progression opportunities Opportunities to upskill through RPL and trade upgrade programs About you Solid background in mechanical maintenance within the mining industry Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team Hands‑on experience with underground mining equipment and technologies, including brands such as Epiroc, CAT and Sandvik Broad mechanical expertise with advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with SAP is advantageous Qualifications and Licenses Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification Automotive Air Conditioning license preferred but not essential Dogging (DG), Rigging (RB) and Forklift (LF) licenses desirable Valid WA "C" Class Driver's License at minimum or Australian equivalent Gold Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
