Job Description Epworth Freemason’s has an amazing opportunity to join our wonderful team on a permanent full-time basis as Senior Head Theatre Technician, Grade 5. Join our dynamic team that is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience with a focus on safety first. You will be in charge of the shift & will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service and optimal patient care. You will also work closely with the Theatre Utilisation Manager to help foster and grow new and existing technicians. Responsibilities Developing and implementing the Technician team’s roster. Optimising staff skill mix to ensure the provision of timely, safe, high quality patient care and also simultaneously enables training requirements of staff to be met. Management and Coordination of Equipment Servicing. Positive role model to all levels of staff in terms of commitment to the delivery of high-quality patient care. Demonstrated ability to lead, assist and support organisational change. Your expertise and attention detail will help create a safe and effective working environment for the patients and team members. Team Player. To Be Successful We are looking for someone who is a good communicator with a natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients. You should be professional in your work, have a strong attention to detail, and be quick to learn and adapt. Completed a Certificate IV Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Support) Minimum 4 years clinical experience as a Theatre Technician Dedicated to coaching and developing theatre technicians Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Effectively manage high-performing teams and foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Qualifications Completed a Certificate IV Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Support) Why Join Epworth?
