Employment type - Ongoing - Full time Salary - Clerk Grade 9/10, Base Salary ($129,464 - $142,665), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role The Registry Manager leads the delivery of integrated registry services across the Sydney and Parramatta Registries, supporting Judges, Commissioners and the public. This is a senior leadership opportunity to influence service delivery in a complex, high-volume jurisdiction, drive continuous improvement, and lead a skilled team through ongoing change and digital transformation. What you'll do As part of the Registry Management Team within the Industrial Relations Commission, you will manage the day-to-day operation of registry services across two locations, ensuring high quality, professional and client focused service delivery. You will lead and develop registry staff, oversee workload planning and resource allocation, provide specialist advice on client service policies and procedures, and contribute to strategic planning, caseflow management and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also: Plan, monitor and manage workloads and staff rostering to ensure equitable distribution of work and effective service delivery Lead recruitment, induction, training and performance management of registry staff Foster a positive, ethical and safe workplace culture that supports high performance and staff development Ensure compliance with legislative, policy, audit and governance requirements Manage sensitive and confidential information with sound judgement, tact and discretion Oversee operational resources, including courtroom technology and registry systems Identify and implement opportunities to improve registry processes, service delivery and caseflow management Build and maintain effective relationships with judicial officers, legal practitioners, government agencies and other stakeholders Support the Commission's transition to digital services and modern service delivery models Promote a positive public image of the Commission through fair, timely and consistent service delivery Work as part of a collaborative and experienced management team in a professional court environment What we're looking for Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent extensive experience, with a willingness and ability to travel and work across both the Sydney and Parramatta Registries. Proven leadership capability with the ability to contribute to the Commission's strategic direction and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in caseflow management, legislative initiatives, strategies and programs. Demonstrated ability to plan, monitor and manage workloads and staff allocations, including rostering, to ensure equitable, efficient and effective service delivery across a geographically dispersed frontline environment. Experience working in complex, high volume service delivery environments, with the capacity to adapt to change and support evolving and digital service delivery models.
