Position Overview Consultant – Physician – Geriatrics (EMHS). This is an open recruitment pool for a fixed‑term and casual appointment, available at various hours for up to 5 years, with appointments that may be made until 29 May 2026. Responsibilities Lead the Community Health in a Virtual Environment (Co‑HIVE) multidisciplinary team to provide specialist services to enrolled patients and deliver medical support and management as required. Promote patient safety and quality of care. Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training and other health workers. Collaborate with the Head / Deputy Head of Department and other consultants to achieve national, state and EMHS performance standards and targets. Operate within the scope of clinical practice defined by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee. Qualifications & Experience Skilled and suitably experienced individuals with current medical credentials who meet the professional standards set by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee are required for this role.
