About the role Ventia is seeking an experiencedGrounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for ideal for a passionate and driven Ground Supervisor who excels at motivating teams to maintain lawns, grounds, and landscape assets in pristine condition. Oversee horticultural, turf and landscape maintenance in various open space projects, ensuring environmental sustainability and best practices are followed Ensure safety and compliance across all teams and projects. Conduct site assessments, inspecting gardens and parks, generating reports, evaluating performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Lead, mentor, manage rosters and motivate a team of skilled professionals in the field of open space management. Ensure regular preventative maintenance is conducted on plant and equipment to keep them in optimal working condition Lead innovations that drive efficiency and performance. About you Expertise in horticulture, turf management and landscape maintenance techniques. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and inspire teams. Strong work ethic with excellent time management abilities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police.
