National Pump & Energy (NPE) is a leader in pump power and water treatment solutions. We are offering a FIFO opportunity to work at one of Queensland’s largest gold mines at a power station. The role involves assembly, testing, repair, and maintenance of plant and equipment on site. The position is travel‑based (Brisbane or Cairns) and provides meals and accommodation. It is a fixed‑term role expected to run through to the end of 2026. Key Responsibilities Undertake maintenance and repair of equipment. Ensure delivery schedules are met in a timely manner. Perform engine diagnosis, mechanical repairs and servicing. Inspect and assess fleet for damage, including scope of repairs and parts. Accurately record servicing information and related documentation. Connect and test pumping equipment. De‑water mine sites. Undertake servicing, installs and repairs in the field. Deliver excellent customer service and champion the NPE brand while on site. Skills and Experience Essential : Current C‑Class Driver’s Licence. Relevant Trade Certification – Mechanical or Mechanical Fitting. Experience in maintenance and repair of equipment. Proficiency in effective customer relations and support. Ability to work unsupervised. Intra‑ and interstate travel may be required. Desirable : Experience in the Rental Mining, Construction or Heavy industries.
