CAD Production Draftsperson Full Time – Wollongong NSW Best Kitchens are seeking a full time CAD Production Draftsperson to join our highly skilled team, working alongside a team of CAD drafts people, to be based out of Wollongong. We are the Illawarra’s leading multiple award-winning company and therefore need an individual who can match our standards in quality and workmanship. Kitchen fabrication experience is essential or closely related with strong emphasis in CAD design. Solid knowledge in Cabinet design software such as CabMaster, Cabinet Vision, or MicroVellum preferred. Candidates with knowledge in AutoCAD and EnRoute will also be considered. You will be working in an office environment with the majority of your day spent interpreting and programming plans from office to the workshop. Please note: This is a full-time role. We are not seeking remote workers or subcontractors to take on this role. Tasks and Responsibilities Drafting sketches and producing production quality designs of kitchens and various joinery. Analysing and interpreting job assignment instructions to apply appropriate drafting procedures, tools and equipment to ensure the best quality of the assigned job. Supporting Production & Factory Managers to place jobs into production and order required materials if needed. Assisting with any relevant tasks as required by Project & Estimating Manager. Experience Requirements At least 2+ years of relevant experience Cabinet making experience is essential Experience in kitchen industry essential Essential Skills and Requirements AutoCAD experience not essential but a bonus Solid knowledge in Cabinet design software such as CabMaster, Cabinet Vision, or MicroVellum Hardworking and strong work ethic Reliable and self-motivated Ability to work in a team environment Ability to adapt and learn Passion for your trade Apply If you satisfy the above, please apply without hesitation outlining why you are suitable.
